Studio de Danse Danielle, founded over 45 years ago by Danielle, is now family-operated by her daughters, Karin Kelly and Tanya Miller, continuing the legacy of passion for dance and teaching.

Meet Karin & Tanya
Raised in the studio, Karin and Tanya grew up immersed in music, movement, and mentorship. Their paths as dancers began with RAD and CDTA training, evolving into professional careers as certified ADAPT Syllabus instructors, choreographers, and educators.
Karin is the creative mind behind the award-winning Allez Bouge program, bringing dance to French-language schools and daycares across the region. Her choreography is nationally recognized for its originality and emotional impact. Tanya is deeply committed to ensuring every student receives high-calibre instruction in a supportive and empowering environment.

Our Team
Karin Kelley
Owner, Choreographer, Teacher
Karin participated in RAD and CDTA examinations starting at a young age and is now a certified and accredited teacher in the ADAPT Syllabus. She is also a multi-award recipient for her innovative choreography work.
Tanya Miller
Owner, Choreographer, Teacher
Tanya has also completed advanced levels of examinations in RAD and CDTA. She is committed to ensuring all students, whether in competitive or recreational dance, receive quality training.
Laurianne Adam
Communications Coordinator, Teacher
Laurianne has been part of the Studio Danielle dance team since the age of 6. Throughout her training, she completed several ADAPT exams (Tap and Jazz) as well as RAD (Ballet).

After competing in dance for almost 12 years, she is continuing her dance journey by completing her Certificate in Ballet Teaching Studies (CBTS) with RAD.
Catherine Friesen

Born in Ottawa, Catherine was trained in Russian and Cecchetti ballet at National Capital Dance Educators.
Valérie Lizé
Teacher
Valérie Lizé is a bilingual dance teacher, A.D.A.P.T. certified, based in Ottawa, with over ten years of teaching experience. She brings strong technical training in jazz, lyrical, ballet, and tap, with a specialization in jazz technique.
Erica Jean-Baptiste
Teacher
Her training, which includes the Royal Academy of Dance (R.A.D.) and A.D.A.P.T., has allowed her to develop a strong technical foundation while cultivating her unique artistic voice. Her journey has taken her to major artistic centres including Montreal, Toronto, New York City, and Los Angeles.
Sylvie Chagnon

As a tap teacher and choreographer in several studios and school programs in Gatineau for two decades, Sylvie became interested in dance education at a very young age.
David Lafleur
Teacher
David co-founded (in)sight with Ella Steele, a Tap dance collective dedicated to sharing innovative, multi-disciplinary work. Together, they create theater productions, short films, and in situ pieces, collaborating with artists across various practices to showcase the versatility of Tap dance.
