Erica Jean-Baptiste

Passionate about dance since the age of four, Erica Jean-Baptiste has dedicated her life to exploring and mastering a wide range of dance styles. Her training, which includes the Royal Academy of Dance (R.A.D.) and A.D.A.P.T., has allowed her to develop a strong technical foundation while cultivating her unique artistic voice. Her journey has taken her to major artistic centres including Montreal, Toronto, New York City, and Los Angeles.
Erica’s professional performance experience includes dancing with the Les Grands Ballets Canadiens de Montréal, intensive training at the National Circus School of Montreal, and performances in a variety of artistic projects and events. She has also appeared in high-profile stages for MAC Cosmetics product launches and television projects for networks including TLC and TVA, demonstrating her versatility as a performer.
She further developed her academic and technical background through the Fine Arts Department at Concordia University, along with her certification in Progressing Ballet Technique (PBT). Her diverse training has shaped her into a well-rounded artist with a strong understanding of both classical technique and contemporary movement.
As a choreographer and educator, Erica is known for her dynamic energy, precision, creativity, and distinctive artistic style. She enjoys working with dancers of all levels, from young beginners to advanced and university-level performers, helping them develop not only their technique but also their confidence, musicality, and individuality.
Driven by curiosity, excellence, and a genuine love for movement, Erica continues to share her knowledge, creativity, and passion with the next generation of dancers. Her goal is to inspire students to challenge themselves, embrace their artistry, and discover the joy and freedom that dance can bring.
