Marianne Joly

Teacher

She has been part of the Studio de danse Danielle family since the age of four. Dance has therefore played a very important role in her life for the past 12 years. Over the years, she has had the opportunity to explore several dance styles, develop her skills, and experience many memorable moments that have helped her grow both as a dancer and as a person. She has also participated in several competitions, which have taught her the importance of teamwork, perseverance, discipline, and pushing herself beyond her comfort zone.
Since 2023, she has also been part of the Studio de danse Danielle summer camp team — that’s right, she’s Ananas! 🍍 — where she has the opportunity to share her passion for dance with younger children. She has taught and worked with children in creative movement, ballet, jazz, and acro. These experiences have allowed her to build strong connections with the children and learn how to adapt her teaching approach so that everyone feels confident, has fun, and can progress at their own pace.
She loves watching children discover dance, gain confidence, and feel proud of their accomplishments. To her, teaching dance is about much more than learning movements or choreography. It is also about creating a positive environment where children can express themselves, move, try new things, and most importantly, have fun!
Having grown up at Studio de danse Danielle herself, she finds it especially meaningful to now give back and share with younger dancers everything that dance has brought into her own life over the years. She is very happy to continue being part of this wonderful family and to share her passion, energy, and love of dance with the next generation of young dancers!
