Melisande Lalonde began her dance training at the age of three at Studio de Danse Danielle. Dancing competitively since 2009, she has earned numerous regional titles, recognitions, and scholarships at events such as Candance Competition, American Dance Awards, Canadian Dance Awards, The View Dance Challenge, Move Dance Competition, and Fever Dance Competition, to name a few.

In 2018, Melisande was named Junior Miss View Dance, and in 2021 she received second place Top Choreographer in the Young Creators Challenge. She also showcased her talent on a broader stage by participating in season 4 of Révolution in 2022. Most recently, she was crowned the National Title of Senior Miss Candance 2023.

Melisande is passionate about performing in a wide range of styles including Jazz, Contemporary, Lyrical, Tap, and Hip Hop. However, her deep love of Ballet shines through in every movement. She enjoys collaborating with choreographers, mentoring young dancers, and sharing her love of dance with those around her.
