Candice Trivett started her dance career with Studio Danielle at the age of three. She has since been trained in many different styles of dance such as acro, modern, lyrical, pointe, ballet, jazz and tap. As with most students from Studio Danielle, Candice completed her examinations in RAD ballet as well as her CDTA tap and jazz exams. Candice joined the competitive team at the age of seven—and through this experience, had the opportunity to compete throughout North America. She has performed on numerous occasions on Parliament Hill, as well as on CJOH’s Homegrown Café show. Her love for dance brought her back to her dancing roots as a staff member for Studio Danielle in 2007. Candice has taught acro, tap jazz and creative movement over the years and is now the head of the acro department. She also choreographs for Studio Danielle’s competitive team, and her work has received many awards including choreographer awards, high-score awards, overall competitive routine in the acro category, judges’ choice, and Ultimate Shine. Candice’s main goal is to nurture the love of dance in all of her students—including her two daughters, who now also dance at studio.
