our INSTRUCTORS
Suzanne Rothe
Suzanne began practicing
yoga in 1992. Since then, she has developed a passion
for the physical practice of asana, breathwork (pranayama)
and the cultivation of mindfulness through movement
and stillness.
In 2006, Suzanne completed her 200-hour teacher training
course for hatha yoga (in the Kripalu style) with Yoga
Corps et Âme, a school accredited by Yoga Alliance.
She is among the first graduates of the first French-language
teacher training program given in the Outaouais region.
Suzanne wishes to share the benefits of hatha yoga with
the members of her community. She believes that yoga
is an effective tool for fully inhabiting our beautiful
bodies and for learning to ride the wave of human experience
with strength, flexibility and wisdom.
While she is interested in a wide range of yoga styles,
Suzannes main influence has been the school of
Kripalu Yoga?a challenging approach that emphasizes
meditation and breathwork, and encourages inward focus
and spiritual attunement.
