You will learn the meaning of (Mudras) hand gestures and adavus (body poses and moves) of bharatnatyam, the elegant steps seen in Bollywood movies and the energetic moves of bhangra.

Creative Meditation
This class will allow you to familiarize yourself with meditation by exploring key techniques such as charkas, mantras, mudras, breathing and creative visualization. While doing basic Hatha-yoga postures, the goal is to gain the ability to manage your thoughts more efficiently and to create and realize your highest aspirations.

Energy stretch
Energy stretch is a simple exercise program that helps maintain and increase muscle flexibility and joint range of motion. The movement or physical activity of everyday living causes tension and imbalance in the human body impeding proper blood flow necessary to the repair of muscle tissue. Energy Stretch teaches active, passive and PNF (proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation) stretches that will enhance the performance of movement in general. Optimal flexibility is an important component of fitness and Energy Stretch can be a beneficial compliment to any health program.

Get-Moving
A dynamic program designed specifically to meet the needs of the pre-school child ages 2 to 5. Join in the fun and games full of movement that challenge the body and mind. A variety of activities are practiced such as sport drills, circuit training and dance targeting the use of agility, balance and coordination. All of the above plus an introduction to stretching and postural alignment for body awareness.

Hip Hop
Hip Hop is the dance industry's new fit-factor. The dynamics of Hip Hop dancing are as physically demanding as any sport, requiring strength, flexibility, endurance, and control. Unlike most sports, however, Hip Hop breeds a philosophy of originality and positive character-building. Students are encouraged to try out different characters or emotions, and to express them in their dance with passion and energy.

Hatha Yoga
Hatha yoga is a classical style of yoga that emphasizes physical postures (asana), both static and flowing, and breath control (pranayama). Movement and breath are linked to build stamina, strength and flexibility. Hatha yoga also focuses on relaxing the body and mind and restoring vital energy. This type of yoga is suited to students of all levels and all ages.

Mom's in Shape

Pilates
Simple exercises and breathing techniques focused on strengthening the body from its core. The pilates method develops and defines muscle mass as well as improving posture.

Strength Training and Flexibility Workshops

Salsa
The smooth, beautiful music with the joyful, vibrant Carnaval beat is a result of a musical evolution of various types of Latin rhythms. Salsa is a romantic and sultry dance that is continuing its decades long growth to embrace all ages and all people.
